I'm planinng to do some fun engine project on my just bought 1988 Firebird, to be used:
1985 305 TPI flat tapped motor
LT1 intake (already on the engine)
L82 cam 222/222@0.050 lift 0.450/0.460
longtube headers with custom 2,5 ypipe and magnaflow cat-back
1,5 fullroller rockers
dubble roller timing chain
1227165 ECM with australian mod MAFtoMAP (12p code) done, just will need more tuning.
lighter harmonic balancer (stock is damaged)
2x58TB
2100 S10 converter on TH700r4 rebuild tranny


for this cam do i need to replace stock springs?


what numbers and 1/4 mile to expect, any other ideas for cheap power adding? next up after that is to get nitrous +100HP shot.
