Stripped Exhaust bolt thread
I was putting my headers back in and stripped a header bolt thread on the #5.
I have a heli-coil kit.
But its pretty tight to drill the hole 1st with the 25/64 drill bit.
I bought an angle drill but I'll have to cut the drill bit shorter , and even then it may not fit.
Any other pointers to do this while the heads are still on the engine and in the car?

You're on the right track, as long as the drill you have will fit into the space at hand.

It's not looking good.
There's just not alot of room in there.
Might have to bite the bullet and remove the head

Do you have an air ratchet? They make a 3/8" drill chuck that will fit on a 3/8" ratchet drive. That would give you a much smaller right angle drill.

Re: Stripped Exhaust bolt thread
I got it!
I originally bought this drill
http://www.princessauto.com/en/detai...ll/A-p8571762e
But the trigger is on the wrong side!
So I bought another one with the trigger on the inside
http://www.gison.com.tw/en/product/3...GP-835ADS.html
Just barely enough room for it to drill, but I had to cut the drill bit down.
Then installed the heli-coil
Woohoo! Headers are back on
