Would you change the rear main seal?
I'm doing the 700 to T5 swap. Initially when I puled the flywheel everything was fine. Seal was dry. One piece RMS. It wasn't until a few hours after I drooped the back of the engine that a drip started to form dead center of the seal. I don't like messing around with seals like that if they're is no reason too. Just wonder if the tilt is putting pressure against the seal. Then again, I guess that's no different then if the car were on a hill. It shouldn't leak then either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the one piece seal is just plug an play? If I should replace it, it's just that round seal that pops out and back in? I don't have to drop the pan and pull out the aluminum retainer.

No more trouble it is to change out a one piece main seal, while the transmission is out, I would certainly change it.
