Compression test, good numbers?

I am in the process of rebuilding the top end of my engine. I put the heads back on and did compression test. My engine has 140,000 miles on it. Are these good numbers?

Passinger side:
8) 11.5 Kpa, 170 LBS SQ in.
6) 10 Kpa, 145 LBS SQ in.
4) 11 Kpa, 160 LBS SQ in.
2) 12.2 Kpa, 177 LBS SQ in.

Driver Side:
1) 11 Kpa, 160 LBS SQ in.
3) 10 Kpa, 145 LBS SQ in.
5) 11.5 Kpa, 170 LBS SQ in.
7) 13 Kpa, 190 LBS SQ in.

Here's the weird part when I pulled off the head cylinder 7 was perfect, it was shinny and clean the piston looked brand new. This means that cylinder wasn't firing or the fuel injector for that cylinder is broken right? How do I test an injector?

the clean looking cylinder may be from a water leak into that cylinder and the steam cleaning everything up. as for the compression numbers you would want all of the numbers to be with in 10% or so, your's aren't but the numbers on thier own are fairly high, or not bad. i prefer to do a leak down test instead of or in addition to a compression test.

they're not bad but you want the numbers to all be close together and your's aren't all close. However they are all pretty high which is a good sign..and as mentioned before I would perform a leak down test in addition to the compression test
