1991 camaro rs Air Pump pulley knock
Hello all,
So basically I was driving along the freeway and noticed my steering wheel became tough to turn as if the car shut off so I figured it was the power steering pump..when I pull over to check under the hood I realize my serpetine belt is missing. Lately I've been hearing a knocking noise and found it to be the pulley on my air pump (checked by hand and it wiggles back and forth pretty bad). My question is do I replace the whole air pump or just tighten the pulley because the new belt keeps jumping off at the air pump. I cant seem to find a new air pump with the pulley or just a pulley by itself. Any suggestions or help welcome.

Did you try to tighten the bolts that hold the pulley on?
