88 Firebird Speedometer Gear

I replaced the rear in an 88 Firebird . It was a 3.08 and now is it 3.42.
The speedometer is progressively off. At 20 mph it is off by 3, at 40 - 6and at 65 mph it is off by 10 high. It is a 5 speed manual .
What is the best way to fix this?

See the T5 drive/driven gear sticky in the Transmission and Drivetrain forum.
