New cat helped got a 1.86 on hc limits are 2.5 1.62 on nox limits are 4.0 but my co was 45.1539 and limits are 20 can that be the oxygen sensor bout thw only thing i havent replaced

 

Oooops, u said CO! OK high CO is dirty air filter or bad O2 sensor. A scan can look at your O2 numbers and u can see any problems w/fueling or sloppy O2 output. Anyways the O2 sensor is a normal wear part - should be changed bout the time u change brakes or tires.

 

Wow it should be changed that often i will remember that. I went ahead and got a bosch one yesterday the one that was on there was a tgk japan and was smaller then a spark plug. It was solid black with a thick layer of carbon all over it. I took my air filters out for the test because no one has them in stock put them back in after the test i ordered some but wont be here till tuesday when i retake test. Car runs better now and keeps getting smoother on the throttle. The guy i bought it from didnt have to do emissions so i guess he took that as not having to do anything at all.

 

Glad to read the good news. Once u get the a/c replaced let us know what your smog test results are - it helps us all.

 

I PASSED! So I replaced the o2 sensor and got it by. So for the results hc-2.20 limit 2.5 co-17.47 limit 20.00 nox-2.11 limit 4.00 not sure why my hc and nod increased but the most important thing is I dont have anything to worry about for 2 years.
