smog pump removal

What do i need to do to get rid of the smog pump on my 1983 z28 camaro?

be sure you dont flip the by-pass switch, i think its next to the hydro coil and the piston return spring. the flux capacitor might get in your way but you could probably slip past it with a left handed screw driver.
