Gear select problem.

At the moment, I am driving my friends Camaro as I wait for an engine to come in for my car. The problem I am having with his car is this. Park has now became reverse. It will start in Park, but it will move backwards if I don't keep my foot on the brake. It will not start in neutral, but then again neutral may not be neutral anymore. I'm thinking p/n switch and/or linkage under the car.
