injectors

im am right on the 85 tpi model Camaro they are batch fired, if so if you have a bad wire plug you should be able to use the wire next to it to test the injector or wiring on that bad injector? if the wiring is bad can it be jumped off the closest one on the same bank ,bank fired of course

Re: injectors

Yes you can exchange 2 neighboring injector wires, as a troubleshooting technique (and a good one too I might add) to see if a problem moves or stays in place. Then once you've used that technique to locate the defect, you could then ACTUALLY REPAIR it.

Not sure how "jumped" would be A Good Idea in the long run. Sounds kinda like a hack job to me, somehow. I'd personally direct myself more towards "identify" and "repair" as opposed to "jump". But that's just me; maybe your standards are lower? I don't think so, but just throwing that out there, for comparison's sake.
