Car: 1989 Firebird
Engine: 2.8 liter v6
Transmission: automatic
89 firebird what is this wire?
This is my first 3rd gen and whomever had it before me rigged it up . The mass air sensor was set aside and the pictures are a sensor that was put in between the air filter and the intake. I can't find it on the wire diagram. Please help!

That is the iat sensor or called the intake air temp sensor it measures how hot/cold the air is coming into the throttle body
