AC Removal???

I've Removed My AC. I'm asking should I put my smog pump and put it where the ac used to be to balance it all out??? because when I went to get my trans, my mechanic said I should put the AC all back on, or just put it there to balance it out...

What year car? if pre-88, you should have v-belts and just get belts for a factory non-AC car. If you have the serpentine setup, you need a delete pulley, which i think you can get from a GM dealership.

Your mechanic is on drugs. I have removed my A/C long time ago and I have no problem with balacing anything. Just get the A/C delete pulley from GM.
