I like the TPI setup and was thinking of getting a Vortec TPI base and using a set of 24lb Bosch 3 injectors I have sitting on the bench.

Has anyone tried a combination like this?
I did not read every post in this response but here is my response:
-A TPI mounted to this crate engine will probably drop the HP down to 350 at the most, so 24 lb injectors will work fine in this application. I have run similar combinations to this and they all worked fine once you dial in the chip.
-Next a 24 lb injector can support at least 384 HP in my opinion at 43 PSI rated pressure, assuming a BSFC of .4 which most N/A performance engines can easily obtain with a duty cycle of 80%. I personally have run over 425 crank HP with 24 lb injectors by having a engine that obtains BSFC numbers at .4 with duty cycles at 90% plus and never had any issues. Running at or near 100% duty cycle for a street driven car in my opinion is no big deal since you are only operating in that area for a very short time frame. If this was an endurance application then I would agree with the 80% duty cycle limit.

100% agreement with that.

My experience and several others I've tuned for say 100% DC is not an issue even for roadcourse duty. Never an injector failure in 10+ years of doing it. I wouldn't do it with worn out stock injectors, but SVO's have shown no weakness to it.

Re: New ZZ6 Crate Engine with TPI?

I bought a zz6 crate motor. I left the single plane intake on engine and installed a Holley Stealth Terminator EFI. I think the engine runs great. I had a chassis Dino done. It is putting out 302 hp at rear wheels. Thought I should get more. Does this seem normal?

Sounds reasonable, depending on exhaust, quality of the tune.
