vibration test.....

how can i tell when my car vibrates at 3500RPM in ever gear, is coming from the crank, the flywheel or the driveshaft on a 84 Z28 5-speed?

Did you recently do any clutch work? My Formula had ths problem but at 4000rpm. It was a clutch/flywheel balance problem.

Car: 87 Monte Carlo SS

Engine: 89 IROC 350 TPI

Transmission: 700R4 rebuilt w/TCI kit

Axle/Gears: 9" from 57 ranchero unsure gears.

you can elim the driveshaft if its in each gear, at 3500 depending on which trans you have the drivshaft will be turning anywhere from less than 1000 to more than 4000 (if its a OD trans)
