Where is there a good wire, preferably on the passenger side under the hood, to tap into to get a run signal (not always hot)
I didnt want to run a wire thru the firewall to the ECM. If there is anything under the hood that is safe that would be awesome

Re: Ignition on source

I'd like the same thing, I don't want to run through the firewall if I can help it for my aftermarket cooling fan.

Re: Ignition on source

I never found one I liked.
I pretty easily did an addafuse to the fuse block in the drivers footwell.
Ran it across the dash and out just under the antenna grommet. Through the fender and right up below the AC box.

If you want something that is hot in the run position, but cold in the cranking position, there are four locations to grab a hot wire. There is a pink w/black stripe at the AIR system valves (2), the CCP solenoid, and the EGR solenoid. They are on the 10A GAGES fuse.

Re: Ignition on source

Does anyone know if the fusebox under the driver side footwell is hot in the cranking position? ...battery isn't in the car, and I need to add a fuse like Vanilla did.

Sorry for the hijack.

Sweet, pink/black to the charcoal canister is perfect. I just tapped off that. I didnt wanna take the intake off just to get the the EGR junk. Plus the temperature probe out of the radiator fins is on the drivers side anyway, so i just ran them together.
