I am in the finishing stages of a motor install on my Z28. Where does the oil sending unit go? I can not thread it into the holes above the oil filter area and that is where i took it from the old motor? the new engine is a mid 90's block? Any help would be GREATLY appriciated.

 

Mine is to the left (sitting in the car) of the dist on the back of the block. It's on the end of a piece of 1/4" brass pipe with a 90* elbow.

 

Thnaks for all the help! Turns out that the motor was painted and the hole was pluged so we missed it but its all good now Thanks again!
