Need help on fuel pump issue

Sorry in advance if I do not do this right. New to the site. I've got a 91 RS with a 305 TBI. Backed it out of the garage this morning to change out the front clip with my son and install a new CD player. It started fine and backed out and let run for awhile. Went to pull it back in and it would not start. I do not hear the fuel pump turning on. It will turn over fine but the fuel pump is not coming on. Replaced fuel pump, replaced relay and fuse beside the battery. One thing that happened for some reason was we had it out and had the key in the on position for a little bit and noticed the electric fan was smoking and was really hot. I unplugged the fan and left it unplugged. For some reason the fuel pump is not coming on. I can fell the relay clicking in the hood but nothing at the pump. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Check the connection under the car for power to the pump. If there's no power there then something is wrong at the relay more than likely. Sounds like something is wrong there if the fan was trying to come on for some reason.

Will do. I've got my power probe at work I will get tomorrow. Just crazy it worked fine and then took the front bumper off and put a new one one and swapped out radio to a new one and now it don't work. It's got some sort of aftermarket security system on it. I'll dig a little deeper. Thanks
