Re: fuel sender unit- insulation coming off of wire

Solder in a new wire section. Don't use electrical tape for sure. I'm not even sure if heat shrink would hold up gas though. I would repost this in electronics.

Thanks Tibo. I will try to repost in electronics. My only worry about soldering a different wire in is, will that wire's insulation hold up to the Ethanol exposure?
