1991 z28 no start on gas only starter fluid

I have tried several things and could not figure out why there was no pulse to the injectors put a meter on the 2 fuel injector fuse slots in the fuse block and there is no power to those two fuses, any help is much appreciated

Are you checking them with the key on? Check the 20amp fuse next to the battery

Yes sir, 20 amp is good by the battery, and key is forward.

could the pickup coil in the dist be bad?

The ECM needs it for a reference signal to pulse the injectors, but the ECM is the ground side of the circuit. You should have power at the injectors with the key on.

Easy check for pickup coil is to pay attention to the tach during cranking. If it is completely still then the pickup coil is not sending a signal.
