Half of injectors not working on passenger side

Hi I got a 1992 cameo z28 .it is a tpi engine 5.0 .the injectors on passenger side seem not to be working. I put test light on the wire with it running.it seems to be pulsing on one of the wires.however with the volt meter on it it's only about 12 volts..the driver side is 14.i can unplug injectors on passenger side with car running it doesn't make any changes to engine.but if I unplug the driver side the engine changes.none on passenger side seems to be working.. please help!!

Check your fuses. There are two. INJ#2 goes to the passenger side injectors. If it's good, start checking the wiring.

I have checked all fuses in fuse box they are all good..there is one fuse that has nothing on either side though I don't know of any other fuses in it. They have voltage on passenger side but they are not fireing.i don't know of any location for injector fuse 2

Injectors are batch fire, i.e. it fires all of them on one side at the same time. If none of them are working, and they actually have power, that would indicate the PCM isn't grounding the circuit. check the wires at the ecm, and see if anything looks odd.

ECM is on passenger side up under the dash. It is on a slide mount, push the bottom of the ECM towards the front of the car until it clears the lower ledge, pull straight down.

Stock ECM has a silver aluminum case, some re-mans get painted black.

Sorry I pulled out the ECM it's silver so I guess it is stock wires looks good I unplug them seen no issues with them on either side ..I do have power to the injectors on passenger side.but they aren't fireing .does that ECM the ground for the injectors??I have checked engine is grounded I can't find any broke wires.when you unplug injectors on passenger side it doesn't effect the engine the driver side does.. fuses are good on both fuses on injectors location in fuse box.at the plug on passenger side with meter hooked up their is voltage on both sides of the plug.one is 14 volts the other is 12.5..I was thinking that the ground is bad. So my question is does the ECM the ground for both sides??

Re: Half of injectors not working on passenger side

You have a discrepancy of 1.6 volts from INJ1 fuse to INJ2 fuse. There shouldn't be any difference. Did you measure voltage on both sides of the fuses (power side and load side)? Pull the fuses out and measure them with an ohm meter to be sure they are good. While you're at it, you should probably measure the resistance of all your injectors to be sure you don't have a bad one. HTH!
