Continuous crank unless I cycle key
Continuous crank unless I cycle key
Every morning I have a hard start issue, it'll crank and crank until maybe the 5th crank it'll start up, but if I cycle the key 4 times before turning it on it'll start right up. The same applies with the engine hot, if I cycle it 3 or 4 times it'll start right up. I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, gas tank, relays, cap, rotor, coil, wires, plugs, iac, and coolant sensor. 305 TPI 86 Iroc.

i have a similar issue, I assume it has something to do with the cold start injector causing issues on the TPI cars. I'm assuming you replaced fuel filter as well?
Re: Continuous crank unless I cycle key
Yes I have, forgot about that. What about when the engine is hot though? Cold start doesn't apply to that.

Re: Continuous crank unless I cycle key
mine starts fine on a hot start so that's where our situations differ. every cold start takes many cranks to get it to fire over, once it starts sputtering I know I'm getting close to the start lol.
