rear end
rear end
I got a 1990 V6 camaro. first the rear blewcause it had no oil, replaced the rear with a junkyard rear, it also blew(dont know why) ---replaced the rear again, now it also blew.
I think it was because i took a 2, hour trip on the highway.
I live in new york city, dont know if city driving affects the gear oil?
is there any way I could prevent this problem(maybee with a gear oil cooler?
please give me info , tips to keep it from blowing , any info worth knowing??
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Gear oil doesn't need a cooler.. it should be fine driving for hours in any condition. The only advice I can give is to make sure the rear end you get is in good condition and have a professional install it.
