1989 Iroc vert runs rough

Hey guys I have been wrecking my brain tring to fix this problem. I have a 1989 5.0 tpi auto. My problem is when i first got the car i had the normal items replaced plugs, wires, fuel pump, fuel filter. The car ran for a few weeks then it started to run so rough, to get the car home I had to pat the gas to keep it balanced from cutting off. Got it home and it sat for a couple weeks. I went to start it fired up fine ran for about 2 min and started to run ruff and cut out. I start again and have to feather the gas again and another couple min the idle return smooth. I did replace I believe it was the temp sensor on the intake manifold. Under the throttle body. I don't know what to do. I live in Maryland and we don't have any replicable shops here any suggestions.

Thanks for your help

If they look like this,

swap to these.

If you do replace the injectors replacing the fuel pressure regulator at the same time is a wise idea.

Re: 1989 Iroc vert runs rough

Hey again guys I went out probing around today while I have the injectors on order. So I noticed that a few rubber hoses have cracks in them. And I also noticed that the passenger side pcv valve lookalike it was never changed. But I could not pull it out because of this device can someone tell me what it and best way to get it off. I felt around it but only felt 1bolt. Thanks for your help again.

That's the diverted air valve. To remove it remove the two 10mm head bolts underneath it.
