Sometimes my 1991 Z28 5.0 L won't start...
Sometimes when I try to start my car, every blue moon it won't start. The car will come on, but when i turn the key it doesn't do anything. I took it to my local repair shop and of course they said every time they tried to crank it that it fired right up. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I think I read on a forum like this a few years ago that this was a common problem with these cars...

Yes it's done it after i've been driving it for quite a while, it has also done it when I've just gotten in it to drive it. I will hit the key several times, nothing, then i'd wait a few minutes, give it a little gas (not sure if that helped at all or not), and finally it would crank.

It could be a vats issue, have you tried the resistor bypass method ?
