Re: SEE HOW YOU SCORE
29/35 What the heck is a poppet valve and why do I care? Missed a few since I didn't read them right. One question was wrong. An OHV can also be an OHC in which case the cam is not above the crank in the block. In both cases the valves are over the head.

Re: SEE HOW YOU SCORE
30/35. Had my usual gripes with these sorts of tests where some questions are written poorly or hardly relate. I've yet to see one of these tests that I feel is truly a good check of one's mechanical knowledge, but I guess it's OK for a quick time waster. At least it's not like one particularly devious grammar one where it gave you a false reading at the end. Reading the comments where everyone thought they did really well was quite entertaining after figuring that out
Re: SEE HOW YOU SCORE
34, and I disagree with their "honing" philosophy. Obviously, whoever wrote the test never built a top fuel engine, and apparently doesn't speak American English as their primary language.
What the hell did they call a wrist pin? A "Gudgeon" pin? What the fark is that? Throw that in the back of your lorrie and **** off with it, mate...

32/35 and I missed the wankle question and I even own one. It doesn't have valves either so I'm saying it's 33.

35/35, but I had to use the hints a few times on some of the poorly worded questions.

Re: SEE HOW YOU SCORE
Yeah, I didn't see any hints either, but then again I wasn't all that focused on perfection
