OK well i was taking my transmission out i had to remove my shifter so i put the key in so i could put my car in neutral. when i went to turn the key forward it was tough to move but not too hard.. but thenwhen i tried to turn it back it wouldnt move. i put it back in park and it still didnt move. i couldnt get the key out either. well me being my stupid self pulled so hard that the key came out but i think i broke my ignition. you cant pull it or push it anyway and now do to my stupid yank to get the key out i can almost pull the thing that you turn to start the car out of the steering column. what should i do????? please help!!!

 

after further investigation i found that the black plate that you turn to turn the key is what is broken so i need to know where i could find one of those and why wont my key turn????
