intake 7121

hi im trying to locate the vacuum port on my performer rpm intake. I currently have PCV and auto trans plumbed in but need to add new vacuum source for brake booster

The booster port is usually on the carb, not the intake. Most carbs provide it.

However, if you want one on the intake, just drill & tap a hole in the plenum, and screw in a fitting. 1/4" pipe thread is the best option for the hole. Make sure wherever you drill it that hoses lines etc. are clear of any carb linkage and stuff like that.

Thanks for the info but I already have a spare blank on the intake just wanted to make sure it was ok to take it from there

Yes it is, but be careful, it may be underneath the carb's secondary fuel bowl.

Try before commit.

Use the one on your carb if it has it.

Thanks for the warning didnt think of that, I have been searching the entire web to try and get a diagram of a elderbrock performer rpm intake to show what all the connections are for and would really help a novice like me

I shoulda paid more attention:

That intake fits a Frod. This site is for 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird. Your post doesn't belong here. Maybe somebody on a Frod board that knows more about Frods can give you more help.
