non 3rd gen - 99 jeep cherokee
My mom had a brake job done to her jeep a few weeks ago. Resurfaced rotors and new pads. Ever since then at low speeds when the car is warm you can hear and feel a bumping coming from the front right side. Last week I took the wheel off and it turns out that they guys did not even torque down the lug nuts right.. they couldn't have been over 40ft/lbs. I didn't see anything unusual when I went in there, but I torqued the bolts back on and she took it back to them the next day to complain(Just Tires). They couldn't hear it and said nothing was wrong, but the problem persists. Any ideas? Could they have screwed up the rotors while resurfacing?
This was the first thing ever done to the car by someone other than myself, rotors had never been turned until now.

re
not much experience on the cherokee's but many FWD fords have a problem with rust scale buildup between the rotor and the hub and between the wheel and the rotor. take the wheel and rotor off and use a wire brush or wire wheel and clean all rust scale off then reassemble with the proper pattern and torque on the wheels. I know grand cherokee's eat rotors like candy so you may just want to get some new ones if it's that bad.
