identifying a disconnected blue wire

Hello, I took pics of a disconnected blue wire that was (to best of my knowledge) never connected yet the car previously ran without any error code. It exits a loom just next to the PCV valve and no obvious place to connect it. This is a 84 T/A with a Quadrajet. Only wiring for the carb I'm aware is choke, throttle position sensor and mixture control solenoid. Anyone has an idea, I appreciate it. Thanks
Mike
