Unknown Camshaft
Hey ladies and gents,
I am currently in the process of putting a Big block Chevy in my 92 Camaro and I got a good deal on the motor. It cam out of a pickup truck with some things done to it but for the most part unknown. It has springs and roller rockers and a cam. While looking over the motor I pulled the rear cam plug to get a number off the camshaft and after searching all over the internet I cannot find who makes this cam or any info on it. If anyone knows anything about it that would be great. It’s a mark IV 454. Attached are pictures of the markings on it.

Re: Unknown Camshaft
Or is that number 3848 ?
Pull up that pdf, go to the top of the page, click EDIT, then FIND, type in the correct number and see what you get.

Re: Unknown Camshaft
Thanks for your help! that's exactly what I was thinking that it was 3848. I couldn't find anything under comp cams with it and the others from comp I have seen have different markings on the back. I'm not sure if anyone has seen one like this or know what brand it is. it looks like it also has 13-45-02 and a sideways M on it.
