Looking for Borescope recommendations.
Hi, I am looking to purchase a Bore scope, I would like a unit that is complete, not looking to use my phone or other device. This is not something I will be using all the time so I would rather not spend a fortune but I am also not looking for junk.
This is one of the ones I am looking at.
Thanks

I use something very similar to this but I would recommend getting the HD version. The cheaper version with lower resolution isn't worth the cost saving. Even the HD version at 640x480 just isn't good enough.

Yes the ones that run off your phone are crap. I bought one from amazon, and its good enough to see down maybe into the dash a little, to pick up a lost screw. But if you want to look into a cyl head or any other really dark place, you wont see anything

The one I listed above from amazon has the same resolution as the HF HD for a lot less. I want a stand alone unit not one that hooks to the phone.
