Driver's Side to Passengers Side Dip Stick Adapter

I need a little help; Remember back in the day when guys were putting drivers side dipstick blocks into mid-80's cars. We'd drill and tap the passenger side of the block for a dip stick adapter.

I don't think that adapter is available. What the chances that you have one in a junk drawer!

Thanks

Re: Driver's Side to Passengers Side Dip Stick Adapter

I think what you're looking for, are called "headers". At least that seems to be the most common solution to running an older block in a thirdgen. Personally, I'd rather run a later block since not only is the dipstick in the right place, but the flywheel and flexplates bolt up, the starters bolt up, the exhaust manifolds bolt up, not to mention that bitchin' one piece oil pan gasket and 1pc rear main seal, and centerbolt valve covers that don't leak...

I'd like to see an adapter though. Just for curiosity.
