87 GTA a/c low press switch question

If I remove the a/c low pressure switch on an 87 GTA, will the R134 leak out? Or is there a valve inside that will prevent it from leaking out??? Thanks in advance!

Re: 87 GTA a/c low press switch question

No. Pressure switches have a schrader valve in the fitting that they screw on to. It's like a tire valve core so the pressure switches can be replaced without evacuating the system.
