KLEIN racing engines
These guys look like a pretty good place to buy a motor,,, has anyone bought from these guys,
KLEIN RACING ENGINES PHOENIX AZ
Sprintcar motors, salt flat racers, and seriouse world record holding motors.
They have great communication and are happy to answer all emails fast.
Shafiroff and CNC motorsports can take up to 1 week to answer emails and are not open for info...... i am spending $8000 to $10,0000 and want to know exactly what i get before i buy.
I am in Australia and got to get this right first time.
Yes we build motors here Yes the motors are as good ,,BUT the parts are way more expensive here and the same motor can cost $4500 more

Re: KLEIN racing engines
Depends on what you intend to do with the engine. $8-10k for a race engine doesn't even cover the cost of my short block. Nothing wrong with Shafiroff engines. ArticwhiteZ had his engine assembled by them with his parts and they were impressed with the dyno results.

Re: KLEIN racing engines
Hello again
I cant recal mentioning i was buying a race motor,, If i did i would get one from here and have no problem paying $40,000 to $60,000 for results.
$8,000 wouldnt buy a racing chainsaw.
I am simply in the market for a replacement engine for a stock block 400 2 bolt that is getting tired,, nothing more nothing less..
People here dont do crate motors for a number of reasons and Shafiroff was sent 4 emails and i got 1 reply basicly asking when will i be paying.
CNC motorsport got back to me 2 out 5 but were pretty good.
For $8000 i can replace this old motor with a new motor that is "performance orientated" ,,,,,, the reason i mentioned Klein "racing engines" is so people could relate to who i am refering to as there could be 100 klein engine shops in america. nothing more nothing less.
