Three tubes, two connections. huh?
So I'm 99.4% sure I have a vacuum leak and decided to trace out some hoses to see if any of them need replacing. So far pretty much every hose I've found has been pretty rotten but I digress. Traced out one hose that started at a fitting at the back of the intake plenum to something else next to the washer fluid reservoir.
I have no clue what this thing is but here's the real mystery. The hose had a T-junction that went to... nothing. Seriously, it was just lying in the battery tray connected to nothing. Try though I might I could not find an empty fitting within reach of the hose and finally just gave up and routed an extra long hose to the two fittings and parked the car.
Any idea what the above part is? And for that matter what the T-junction was supposed to be connected to?
