Cam choice help.... Hydraulic flat tappet hyd XE 262-14 or 268-14 for TPI Vortec?

Trying to make a fast but streetable 355 TPI using Vortec heads and the SDC2000 TPI intake. Just wondering if anyone had either cam and how they liked it. Thanks guys

i would go with the 268

make sure the vortecs have sufficent retainer to valve guide clearance.

Definitely the 268 if those are the only 2 cams you are considering. If you've already got a roller motor though, you can easily get much more lift with a roller cam and the same duration. f you don't though the 268 is a kick *** cam, you'll have lottsa low end torque and traction isssues.
