Installing Holley Sniper, have timing question

Hi, I will be soon installing the Holley Sniper EFI system on my 87 Firebird 305 engine, with Rochester carb,
My question is, I understand that I can use my existing distributor and ignition with the Sniper. What do i do about the timing.

The carb with its associated sensors will be removed and without them, the ECU cannot control the timing. How do I get around this.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Louis

Do you have a vacuum advance distributor? If so, just plumb it up to the Sniper.
