Please identify this hose/line

While replacing the thermostat I happened to notice a tube just hanging freely behind the AC compressor, looked around to see if i could find a place it could go with no luck, any insight/pics on where it should go and what it’s use is for? Thanks in advance

Where do the other two hoses off the T go?

These are where the other two hoses off the T are running to, if that helps

Ok, so we have a 4bbl carb, we go to that thread and look for a carb diagram...



We're in luck because one of those related hoses goes right to the PCV which is easy to find in the diagram. One of the hoses off that closest Tee goes to the tank pressure valve, and that looks like the valve in your last photo, and the other side looks like it goes to the canister control valve in the diagram... So let's see if we can find the control valve.... It's usually a large space ship lookin' gizmo with a bunch of hoses hooked to it, laying dead center on the front of the engine...

thanks for finding that diagram and posting it on this thread for some reason couldn’t get it to load anything, would this be the space ship?
