Can I put ya 1.6 rocker arms on my stock L98?

I heard you can gain about 15 - 20 hp if you add 1.6 rocker arm on a stock motor. my questino is does anybody knw what kind of lift this will give me with a stock L98 with .404 (int.) .415(ext.) lift? I'm pretty sure that the stock rocker arms were 1.5 right? any help would be great. I also know that a cam would give me tho most power, but rocker arms are only around $150 instead of 300+ and it be easier to install also. thank you

Yes you can put the 1.6 rocker on a stock L98. I had a stock l98 with a supercharger on and i ran a 13.2 with my setup. I put a set of slp runners on, airfoil, and a set of Crane Magnum roller rockers on and ran a 12.8. Consequenlty, my new engine has AFR heads and my cam maxed out the springs on my AFR heads so I can not use my 1.6 rr's So now i am selling my Magnum roller rockers for 125 plus shipping. I only have 2500 miles on the rocker's and I purchased them last spring. I think they were onthe car for 5-6mo. They arelike new if you want them.

1.5:1 rocker ratio lift:

.404" Intake, .415" Exhaust

1.6:1 rocker ratio lift:

.430" Intake, .443" Exhaust

I Think stock springs will handle up to 500 lift but i would not go over .480.
