350 tpi to 350 tbi / carb
Hi guys.
my friends car came with 305 tbi stock. the previous owner swapped in a corvette 350 tpi -88 engine and fuel pump. it is way to much problem atm to get it to work etc. is there a easy way (cheapest possible) to convert it to tbi instead? He have the stock ecm,engine harness, tbi fuel pump laying in a box and intake ( no carb tho). which parts do i need if so except the upper radiator hose? This will only be a temporary fix to get it running as we gonna ls swap it in the future

You already have a 1227730 ecm, I would rework the harness you already have and add a map port to your plenum.
or source a used harness a automatic will work with your manual transmission.

the only thing you might need is a custom prom to eliminate vats and recurve timing for the aluminum cylinder heads.

Have you already trouble shot it? Is it all hooked up?
Does it have the MAF or oxygen sensor hooked up? Common problem with TPI swaps I've seen is they put an air filter on the TB for a MAF setup, just cause if it's SD you can do that so they think all can.

I pm’d with him on Facebook. He has what looks to be a stand alone tpi harness for 90-92 tpi with the 1227730 ecm.
he also has in the car a butchered up harness from when the car was tbi and the 1228746. You could always rip out the tbi harness separate c100 wiring the main cabin power, fan , headlight run the stand alone wiring through the passengers side wheel well and see what you have . If it’s a stand alone efi harness the one from the donor car that oddly enough was using a 730 ecm. You will have ecm power, injector power, fuel pump relay and power to pum and ground wires. The rest should be plug and play.
