someone was telling me that it was better to use 1.5 rocker arms on the intake valve and 1.6 on the exhaust. he said it will give you more hp then running all 1.5 or all 1.6.

also with the mods below do you think i should of gotten the 1.6 instead of the 1.5 or am i already outflowing the maf capacity.

Depends on the cam and heads.

On most street motors, you will gain nothing by downgrading either of them; i.e. the motor will make more power with 1.6s on both. However, in the top-end racing classes, they do that to reduce stress on teh valve train; they set htem up with the highest ratio, then progressively drop them until the car slows down, then go back up one step. That gives the best compromise between longevity and power.

Actually, you'd want the 1.6's on the intake side. You make more power on the intake side. Most cams have more duration and lift on the exhaust side anyway.

The only way this might help is with the old style cams with the same lift and duration on both the exhaust and intake. Like Kevin said, most newer cams run more duration on the exhaust, eliminating the need to run different ratio rockers. Unless you have a set of heads with super crappy exhaust ports.
