Cylinder head ID
Cylinder head ID
First time posting, so forgive me if this isn't the right section for this, and please, be gentle.
I just bought a Jasper (I know don't even get me started) 383 4 bolt main engine, that came with these heads on it. Thing is id like to know more about them. They have 1.90 intake 1.60 exhaust valve in them, and dual valve springs. But the only markings on the heads are whats in the picture. So what are they? Are they better then say a factory 113 aluminum head?
Thank you in advance to anyone that can help with this, rebuilding this motor and want to make a choice about whether to reuse these heads or get something better.

Re: Cylinder head ID
those are Dart "iron eagle"heads-they come in different versions with different chamber and runner sizes-a model #should be stamped on the front of the heads near the deck surface.
Re: Cylinder head ID
Thanks for the reply, found a number on the end of one head 100243 2. Dart part numbers all seem to be 8 digits with no spaces.
