Quick question

I have a 1992 rs 305 Tbi that I am rebuilding. Is it worth it for me to pick up a 1988 iroc as a parts car? Is it worth it for the engine and rear end or should I just rebuild a 350 block. All opinions and info welcome thanks

Re: Quick question

If the iroc has a running or even rebuildable 350, then I say yes, it's worth it. I suppose it depends on how much the parts car costs?

Re: Quick question

Cost to build either is the same and you'll get more bang for the buck with the 350.

Re: Quick question

I would be getting a cheap parts car but just trying to really figure out if it’s worth it for all the other parts as well. I know depending on condition of said parts but say is it worth it for the rear end out of an iroc or is it the same in an rs? And others than the 350 what other parts would be benefit to get out of it mechanically that would be better than the rs. In time I would be changing out for new and better but that would be little by little and years down the road. Or is it really just a waste of time?
