Fuel Line gas tank to fuel filter

I am currently freshening up the suspension and undercarriage of my 88 GTA and had a couple of questions about the steel/rubber main 3/8" fuel line that runs from the tank to the fuel filter. I wanted to replace the line because I don't like the idea of a 31 year old rubber fuel line but the only fuel lines I found online through classic industries, inline tube, and hawks are just the steel line section without the rubber line crimped to it.

I finally found the line/rubber hose assembly on Ebay sold through "Fine Lines" and received it today. I am a little disappointed with the quality. My main concern is the female fitting on the rubber side of the line has a much smaller ID hole than the original and also slightly smaller than the ID of the hard line.

My question is what route have you guys gone with replacing this line/hose assembly? Also has anyone used the line/hose assembly sold by Fine Lines and did you encounter any issues?

Thanks for your help,
Brian
