Re: Read this plug please

Looks pretty normal. Looks just like the plugs I pulled from my 305 a few days ago. Dyno tuned and running excellent at 186 RWHP.

You have a light tan/whitish insulator without any speckling, no deposits to speak of so it's running hot enough..... I see no problem here.

Do you suspect a problem?

Re: Read this plug please

Looks like it idled alot right before it got pulled; not the best circumstances for plug observation. Not very old, probably less than 2k miles.

Is there a reason for asking about it?

Re: Read this plug please

Impressive! Thanks!

The car idled for about 20 minutes before shutdown. And they are not very old.

The reason I asked is because I”m hunting down a hot start problem. I suspect leaking injectors or maybe s weak spark. Just had to be sure that the spark plugs wasn”t the culprit.
