High Voltage

89 Camaro RS. I have replaced the battery and alternator and my voltage gage is running in the red.
Anyone know what my next step is to get this fixed?

What is the ACTUAL voltage on the big terminal of the alt while running? (measured with ACTUAL test equipment; the wavy pointer trim package in the dash doesn't count)
