Hi guys. I'm restoring a 1984 Transam LG4 305. I did a lot of engine work, got it running nice. then parked it up for a couple of months while i sis the suspension.Next time i fired it up, it ran for a bit but very rough, then stalled like it ran out of fuel. I changed the filter, put fresh fuel in, no start. checked the carb was getting fuel which it was. took the distributor cap off to check for corrosion etc. everything looked ok. started it again, and it ran but rough. next day tried starting it again and running lovely, but would only creep in gear. died under revs. while i tried to check for vacuum leaks etc i was parked up for a day or so and now just will not start at all, not even rough. i've bought new distributor unit, cap, leads, plugs and will get to tdc and refit saturday. but is there anything else i could be missing or should do?
