fpr mounting location 91(carbed)

so been working on car found fuel running at 9psi with edelbrock carb.
adding a fpr and an fittings.
I cannot find a decent and safe place to install my new fpr I prefer in firewall but have ac system and blower stull installed qhere do you guys install yours at that is safe not too close to spark or heat.

IMO the best place is actually up front, somewhat near the stock mech FP. The lines are already right there to hook up to it.

I know I was looking more around battery or in back under hinges but would have to unmount to readjust the fp which isn't too bad but rather have easy assess until i have that sweet spot.
summit stated its calibrated at 6.5psi which is high end max for edelbrock.
by battery i would have fpr in way if battery has to be pulled.
May do it under the hinge and drill out one of the holes to pass my Allen key through

Yes I think the frame rail, kind of next to the fuel pump or maybe a bit forward from there, is probably the best spot. Right where the lines are; out of the way of exhaust; not totally convenient for adjusting, but once you get it set where it needs to be, pretty functional overall.
