Melling 22280 vs LT4 Hot Cam

Has anyone tried the Melling 22280 cam. Very similar specs to LT4 Hot Cam, but, for almost half the price. I have found it for $187 with free shipping. Brand:Melling

I have setup one in a L31 truck. Makes a little more torque than the hotcam, was not hard to tune the black box to run it and ran great. If you were to run Rhoads original lifters with it or the more expensive V-Max lifters it will idle almost as smoothly as the stock cam while pulling alot of vacuum. Rhoads lifters restore your low-end torque of the stock Vortec cam with this cam. With the rhoads lifters it was able to idle and drive at part-throttle on the stock vortec tune. Had to add fuel and timing to make power out of it.
