Correct AC bracket for 14094063 exhaust manifold?

Hi,

I'm trying to attach AC bracket 14103211 over the drivers side exhaust manifold 14094063 - and it doesn't look like they'll fit even though they should both be right for 1987 cars and able to work together. The bracket should attach over the two front studs holding the manifold on, but the back of the track hits the manifold before it can sit snugly on the studs. It could be connected as-is but the bracket would then be at an angle.

Are there supposed to be any washers or spacers used on the studs to push the bracket out a bit more for a better fit? It's close but something is definitely off. Attaching a picture of the bracket I'm using and the parts diagram. Bracket is #7.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

John
